I was asked how our developers can easily add predefined comments in sourcecode, because our SonarQube-instance will scan for some kinds of review-comments in the project-sources.
This can be done very easily with Eclipse’s so called templates:
Just go to „Windows“ >> „Preferences“ >> „Java“ >> „Editor“ >> „Templates“
and create tow new templates:
Then save your changes an open a Java-file in editor. Now you’re able to easily auto-complete your typing in the same manner as if you use the built-in templates of Eclipse’s Java-editor:
That’s all you have to do. Now your Sonar can crawl the sources to find different types of review-comments.
